RCD Espanyol honoured by LALIGA for promotion

The club are part of seven teams honoured

Rafa Marañón, director of RCD Espanyol, represented the club at an event held on Thursday morning at LALIGA's headquarters. The former striker received recognition from Javier Tebas, president of LALIGA, who individually honoured each of the seven clubs that achieved promotion after the 2023/24 season.

In addition to RCD Espanyol, CD Leganés and R. Valladolid formed the trio of teams that managed to return to LALIGA EA SPORTS, while CD Castellón, RC Deportivo de La Coruña, Córdoba CF and Málaga CF came back to LALIGA HYPERMOTION.

Tebas congratulated the teams for having achieved this milestone and stated that now begins "a new campaign, full of renewed hopes, challenges and competitiveness."
