The Club has reached seven million followers across its social media platforms
RCD Espanyol has entered the top 50 European football clubs with the most social media followers, reaching a total of seven million followers.
The white-and-blue Club is ranked at number 48 with a total of 7,096,935 followers as we continue to increase our global presence on social media. At the end of June, we celebrated six million followers across all our social networks, and a few days ago, we reached the impressive figure of seven million combined followers.
This confirms the good reception that the Club's digital strategy has among our community, helping it to grow and reach new audiences around the world. The report from Blinkfire takes into account followers from X (formerly known as Twitter), Facebook, Instagram and TikTok, as of 1st November 2023.
During the opening months of the 2023/24 season, the Club's social media following has grown by 13%. This new milestone marks a significant achievement for the Club, as we significantly increase our following and grow RCD Espanyol’s international brand, with a greater presence in strategic markets for the entity.
RCD Espanyol is very clear about the path it must follow and faces new challenges with the ambition of continuing to expand the community on social networks. The Club has focused on continuing to focus on quality content and a clear strategy to soon celebrate eight million followers.
