RCD Espanyol continues support of LALIGA x Bloomsbury Football League
The Club is participating in the second edition of the children's football competition in London
RCD Espanyol is proud to once again back the LALIGA x Bloomsbury Football League in London in 2024.
Having competed in the inaugural boys’ and girls’ competitions last season, the Club is delighted to continue to support the programme in association with LALIGA and grassroots football charity Bloomsbury Football. The season kicked off in November and will run through until this summer.
Espanyol are one of 12 teams participating this season, along with Sevilla FC, Real Betis, Real Sociedad, Valencia CF, CA Osasuna, Deportivo Alavés, RC Celta, UD Las Palmas, CD Tenerife, Real Oviedo and SD Eibar. The second edition, in collaboration with the LALIGA Foundation, welcomes refugee children from war-torn countries, who otherwise would not be able to access sport.
As part of the programme, Espanyol have donated kit to its participating team as well as demonstrating our full support behind the young pericos. The Club is proud to partner up with Bloomsbury Football, having paid a visit to the league in north London last March and hosted the organisation at the Stage Front Stadium in April.
