RCD Espanyol appeal Cabrera red card

The club have raised their concerns with LaLiga's Competition Committee

RCD Espanyol have presented an appeal over the sending off of Leandro Cabrera in the team's game against Atletico Madrid, on Matchday 13 of the LaLiga season.

The club have sent a written statement to the Competition Committee regarding the incident, stating that there was a serious mistake made in the showing of the red card. RCD Espanyol also raise concern over the fact that the action was not confirmed by a VAR check.
