RCD Espanyol Academy directors gather in Barcelona
A three-day meeting allowed for training and the sharing of the club's successful methodology
The directors of the different RCDE International and National Academies met this week to receive the tools required for continued success in the 2024/25 season, as part of their traditional training encounter. This meeting shares the RCDE methodology and philosophy, as well as helping to implement it in the different training projects run by the club, both in Spain and in the rest of the world.
RCD Espanyol are one of the clubs that most support collaborators in international and national projects, not only from a methodological perspective, but also through the management tools that the club make available for any project.
The training took place both at the Ciutat Esportiva Dani Jarque and at the RCDE Stadium, where the directors were assisted by different professionals from the club, such as the coordinator of grassroots football, Jaume Milà. They also had the opportunity to exchange impressions with the RCD Espanyol first team coach, Manolo González, and his coaching staff, as well as participate in a working meeting with the deputy general manager of RCD Espanyol, Antoni Alegre, and sporting director, Fran Garagarza. The presence of these speakers, as well as the visit of Jordi Lardín, reinforced the club's commitment to the different training projects.
These sessions serve to start the new season for all RCDE Academies and schools. The club, pioneers in LALIGA in exporting a successful methodology and brand globally in 2014, have continued their work for 10 years, with 14 international academies and 4 national schools currently running. The club continue to firmly believe in the training value of these projects.
