Puado: "We want to make it three wins from three"
The forward sets his sights on Sunday's match against Real Valladolid
Two consecutive wins for RCD Espanyol have the team in high spirits, and the schedule continues heading into March. Ahead of this weekend's away trip to Real Valladolid, striker Javi Puado previewed the match in the midst of preparations for LaLiga Matchday 24.
"It will be a difficult match against Real Valladolid, but we are confident. We want to make it three wins from three games and keep picking up points. It is important for us to keep climbing up the table, in order to get further clear from the relegation zone and for RCD Espanyol to continue to grow," said Puado, who has scored five goals for the club in all competitions this term.
Of the team's recent form, the homegrown talent commented that "we've been able to have very good performances against Getafe, Elche and Mallorca in important games. Now we have another big match and we will be going for the victory."
“Except for the away game against Almeria, we have always been competitive team and fought until the end. We are feeling comfortable away from home. We are getting good results and we want to carry that over to our stadium as well, in front of our fans.”
