Oliván: "This is a chance to change the situation"

RCD Espanyol are looking to put a bad result against Athletic Club behind them when they return home this weekend, for their latest LaLiga game against Sevilla.

Speaking in the week before the contest, Brian Oliván revealed the team's optimistic approach to Matchday 11.

“It's a new match and a chance to change the situation, to bounce back from what happened to us. What better way to do it than at our ground, with our fans, as we aim to get the three points.”

He assures that, against Sevilla, it will be a “very tough” match, but recognises that “at home we are very strong and our objective is to get al three points. All matches are decided by small details, so having the fans on our side means that they will help us as much as possible.”

Oliván added that “we were not up to standard against Athletic Club. Now we have a new opportunity and we will try to correct what we did wrong to win this match -and give our fans some joy.”
