Leo Baptistao, the fourth

The striker signs for five seasons

Leo Baptistao has become the fourth signing for the 2016-2017 season. Brazilian striker, who also has passport from Italy, arrives to attack of RCD Espanyol thanks to the agreement between the white and blues and Atlético de Madrid, whom has shown a great professionalism during the negotiations.

Baptistao, who had more important offers economically, has preferred to join to the new sports project of Espanyol. The forward has a lot of experience in LaLiga and in European competitions despite of his youth; he has played also for Rayo Vallecano, Betis and Villarreal.

The footballer will become officially Espanyol’s player after the medical test conducted privately in the coming hours. His official presentation is scheduled for Monday at 13.30 in the auditorium of the RCDE Stadium limited to accredited media access by the club. Fans can give the welcome to the new ‘blanquiazul’ footballer from 13.45 hours by gate 16.
