José Ángel renews through to 2029

The youth player extends his contract with the club

RCD Espanyol and José Ángel López have reached an agreement on a contract extention through to June 30th, 2029.

José Ángel, who joined the club in the summer of 2023, is in his last year as a player for the Juvenil team, although he is a regular under RCD Espanyol B coach, Víctor Cea.

He has recently been called up by the Spanish Under-19s team, and expressed his delight with his renewal.

“I am very happy. It is a step forward and now I have to continue along this path,” he stated.
