Contactless technology on the turnstiles
The RCDE Stadium will have a new system at the gates this season
With the firm intention of improving access to the RCDE Stadium and offering a more agile service to fans, RCD Espanyol de Barcelona have made a technological investment so that the club's season ticket holders can enter the stadium using a contactless system. This technology will shorten queues and facilitate the experience of Espanyol fans.
This contactless system will allow the physical season ticket to be read at the top of the turnstile with RFID technology, thus eliminating the need for the usual QR code.
In addition, a download of the digital card is also enabled in the Wallet of your mobile device. To download it, season ticket holders must access the Members Area, either through the website (accessing through their mobile device) or through the APP (IOS, Android). Season ticket holders must validate this beforehand and, once the validation is complete, enter the Digital Card section. There they can download the card.
The club will also have assistants at the turnstiles for the opening LALIGA EA SPORTS matches at the RCDE Stadium.

Activate contactless in Google Wallet
If you have Google Wallet and you can see the digital ticket, but the QR code still appears, activate Contactless mode at the top of your Wallet and click on “Activate NFC”. When you click on it, the contactless icon will now appear instead of the QR code. You will now have contactless activated in your Google Wallet.
*If a season ticket holder cannot attend a home match, the club reminds them that they can transfer their season ticket to another member via the website or the APP (IOS, Android), in the “Transfer card” section and the ticket will be sent by email. The card will be invalidated for them for that selected match.
**All categories of season ticket holders will be able to use the digital season ticket except for children under 5 years old who, due to the conditions of their season ticket, will only be able to enter with the physical ticket.
