Arteaga becomes first team goalkeeping coach
He becomes the latest addition to the coaching staff under Luís García
RCD Espanyol have reached an agreement to appoint Íñigo Arteaga as the club's new goalkeeping coach. He fills the vacancy left behind by Jesús Salvador, who has decided to embark on a new professional adventure.
Arteaga has extensive experience with top-level coaches and with clubs around the world during his career to date. Al-Sadd SC of the Qatari league, coached by Juanma Lillo, were his most recent team, after previous jobs at Watford FC, Rubin Kazan, Málaga CF, AO Kerkyra, Cádiz CF and Real Unión Club.
Artega will immediately join up with the first team, who will have their first preseason training session this Wednesday at 7pm.
