Brian Oliván echoes the team sentiment of excitement for Sunday’s match against Albacete BP at the Stage Front Stadium.
Fresh off the back of his 30th birthday, the defender is looking forward to kicking off the new month back at the Temple, in what is a crucial match in the hunt for automatic promotion.
Oliván said, “We are back with great enthusiasm, there are nine games left and we are really looking forward to this week’s game. We are all focused on making the last effort to achieve the goal. It would be important to get the three points, it is as important not to lose. The league is tight, it is very important to get points away and win at home”.
RCD Espanyol have nine days to prepare after their goalless draw away to Burgos CF, as Manolo González’s side are focused on delivering all three points at home.
The left back explained, “The first step to getting three points is to keep a clean sheet. Sunday is a super important game in front of our fans and we want to get the three points to achieve automatic promotion”.
