“It was important to come back with a point”
Duarte says that the team needs the fans this Sunday against Athletic Club
Óscar Duarte was one of the players chosen by Constantin Galca to play against Granada. The Costa Rican changed his position and played in the midfield because of the absences of Víctor Sánchez and Diop. “We went to play with the idea of winning the three points but in the end we came back with one. It is very important to obtain good results because that is going to help us a lot in the future”.
About the game, Duarte said that “we started playing well although there were a few moments we didn’t do so well. In the second half we had the possession of the ball and went forward to try to score”.
About his position on the field, the defender said that he felt “comfortable. I am here to help the team and I will try to do my best despite the position I play. We are going to try to help the team”.
After the draw against Granada, Duarte said that “it is very important to obtain points. This point is going to help us in the future. On Sunday we have a very important match and let’s hope that our supporters are with us”.
